Systems Engineer Consultant - 9017
The Systems Engineer Consultant provides consulting services for enterprise networking opportunities and related information systems activities. Designs, develops and implements technology deployment processes related to network systems. Functions as an integral part of a team to provide technology services to customers. An MCSE and CCNA along with 3 to 5 years of experience in a consulting environment is required. Exchange, Citrix and Linux experience is a plus. Must maintain technical certification(s) as required by D&E policies, our customer's requirements and our product vendors. Must travel as required to perform essential duties.
- Must possess the skills necessary to administer, upgrade, troubleshoot, and install a LAN/WAN, integrate diverse network clients, design and internet work using TCP/IP protocol
- Design, analyze and integrate a Microsoft Active Directory (MAD) implementation
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of network structure, components and basic design
- Must be able to configure and troubleshoot printing in a complex, multi-platform environment
- Must be able to centrally distribute software upgrades to servers and clients
- Assist in making recommendations to our customers on supported products and help guide our customers in decisions that are right for today and ready for tomorrow
