Co-Location
What we provide
D&E Co-Location provides you with a secure, climate-controlled location to house your servers, with redundant power and Internet or point-to-point connectivity. D&E provides the rack, bandwidth, and power, as well as the option to install and/or maintain your equipment. You have 24x7x365 access to the facility, as well as both physical and remote access to your equipment.
Enhanced Support Services (add-ons)
Enhanced support services are also available as an add-on benefit for co-located customers. Services available through D&E's IT Solutions include networking and security solutions for your business. Whether you use us to simply monitor your network devices, or contract with us to provide IT services for a specified number of hours on a monthly basis, D&E is there to support your IT environment.

Bandwidth Offerings
We offer both fixed, and metered bandwidth. With fixed bandwidth, you can choose a dedicated bandwidth pipe to suit your needs (5Mb, 10Mb, 20Mb, 30Mb, 40Mb, 50Mb or higher), and pay a fixed rate each month. Metered bandwidth is a smaller pipe that is burstable to a predetermined ceiling during times of greater usage. With metered bandwidth, you will have a basic monthly rate plus "pay-as-you-go" for bandwidth bursts (based on average incoming and outgoing traffic, over the period of one month).
Total Square Footage
We currently have over 2,000 square feet of raised floor space in our Lancaster County facility and another 950 square feet at our State College location. Additionally, our Phase II build-outs will more than double the available space at both locations.
Services and Benefits included with our cabinet offerings
- We have 2 - N Power Systems that consist of 2-125KVA Liebert UPS Systems. We will be installing additional UPS Systems as needed.
- We also provide a 250 KW Generator system at each co-location. The Generator system is tied to the Liebert UPS Systems, so rollover to generator power and back to the commercial grid is done automatically. The UPS also maintains a power supply during rollovers to assure continual uptime.
- We have N + 1 Air Conditioning systems, which consist of 2 – 25 Ton A/C Units. (This system will also be supplemented in pace with our co-location growth.)
- The raised floor area has a Fire Alarm Suppression system above and below the floor, with FM-200 used as the gas agent so your equipment will not be damaged in case of deployment.
- We have a proximity door access system on all entrance and exit doors, and into the raised floor areas.
- We have camera security in and outside the building.
- All of our systems are monitored 24x7x365 in our state of the art NOC Center.
Where we are
D&E has two co-location sites from which to choose. Both sites are outside of the Urban Areas Security Initiative zones designated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, but are still within reach if you would like to maintain hands-on access to your equipment. Whether you choose to co-locate in our State College or Lancaster County facility (or both for added redundancy), you can rest assured that your data and business functions will be in safe hands.
