Rhapsody is more then just a Music Store, it includes it's own music player, which allows you to download and listen to the music you buy faster and easier. Rhapsody's Music Player is called RealPlayer. You might remember RealPlayer as a streaming video player in the past. Now it's integrated with the Music Store. Allowing you to set up playlists, search your music as well as the store's music catalog.
A nice feature that makes Rhapsody stand out from the competition is a monthly subscription plan, where you get to rent unlimited music for as long as you pay the subscription fee. The Rhapsody website also offers a free streaming music plugin that lets you listen to full songs/albums online for free. It's a great way to check out a new CD from your favorite artist before you buy it.
