Security IconAuction Sites Selling

Here are more points to think about.

Having a good rating with online auction sites is an important key to being a successful seller. Since customers have never met you, they rely on these ratings when judging whom they buy from. Keep customer service a top priority. Be honest and send the items as soon as possible. Respond to questions, notify the buyer if there is an unexpected delay, and try to be patient with even the most challenging customers. They’ll give you a good rating if they’re happy with their experience and that’s great free advertising for your business!

You'll probably want to set up a Paypal account, since it’s the payment site used by most current buyers and sellers. There are others but you can add later if you like, but PayPal is the best known so it’s a good place to start.

Choose an email account that you’ll use to communicate with your customers. Keep in mind that, once you publish your email address on the web, you could be open to a lot of emails. Do you want to untangle auction emails from personal emails? If your auction email account becomes a SPAM magnet, how are you going to close it down an open a new address? You may want to consider setting up a free account like Gmail as your auction contact.  If that account becomes a SPAM victim, you can close it down and open a new one. That will also allow you to use your Jazzd account for just your personal emails.
