Netscape 4.7 Mail Settings

  1. Click on Edit

  2. Click on Preferences

  3. Click on Mail & New Groups, then click on Identity.
  4. Your name will be entered in the Your Name field
  5. Your e-mail address will be entered in the E-mail Address field.
    You can set a return e-mail address. When someone replies to your e-mail address it will go to any other e-mail address that you specify here.

  6. Click on Mail Servers
  7. Your Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server is smtp.dejazzd.com
  8. Your Outgoing Mail Server Name will be username.dejazzd.com OR username@dejazzd.com.
    (Note: New customers & converted users as of January 3, 2006 use @dejazzd.com, users in Lancaster, York, and Harrisburg areas use .dejazzd.com, and all other area users use @dejazzd.com)
  9. Click on the Add button to add in the Incoming Mail Server.

  10. The Server Name is pop.dejazzd.com
  11. Server Type is POP
  12. Your User Name will be username.dejazzd.com OR username@dejazzd.com
    (Note: New customers & converted users as of January 3, 2006 use @dejazzd.com, users in Lancaster, York, and Harrisburg areas use .dejazzd.com, and all other area users use @dejazzd.com)
  13. If you do NOT check the Remember password you WILL be prompted to enter your password every time you check your mail.
  14. Once you have entered your entire information just click on OK or click on the POP tab.

  15. Here you can set Netscape to leave a copy on the mail server.
