Configuring Mozilla Thunderbird for SMTP Authentication

1. Open Thunderbird
2. Click on Tools menu, and select Account Settings.
   
3. In Account Settings window click on Outgoing Server (SMTP) so it is highlighted. On the right hand side click on the email account and click Edit.

   NOTE: If there are multiple accounts listed in this window, the non-dejazzd accounts may need to be removed. If there are no accounts listed you may need to click on Add and then continue to Step 4.
   

4. In the SMTP Server window for the Description type in smtp.dejazzd.com. For the Server Name type in smtp.dejazzd.com. Make sure the Port is 25.

   Under Security and Authentication make sure the box is checked for Use name and password. The username should be the email address. Make sure that Use secure connection is set to No.

   Click Ok.
   

5. Press OK in the Account Settings window.
