Configuring Netscape 4.0x Mail for SMTP Authentication

1. Open Netscape
2. Click on Edit
3. Click on Preferences
4. Click the plus sign beside Mail & Groups.
   (Note: If a "-" sign is displayed beside Mail & Groups, move to step 5)
   
5. Click on Mail Server
6. In the Mail Server section, verify that:

   a. Mail Server User Name is set to: your user name.dejazzd.com (i.e., jdoe.dejazzd.com)
   b. Outgoing mail (SMTP) server is set to: your username.dejazzd.com@smtp.dejazzd.com
   (i.e., jdoe.dejazzd.com@smtp.dejazzd.com).
   

7. Click Ok
