Configuring Windows Mail (Windows Vista) for SMTP Authentication

1. Open Windows Mail.
2. Click on the Tools menu.
3. Click on Accounts.
4. Select the dejazzd mail account and click on Properties.
   
5. This will open the mail account properties window.
6. Click on the Servers tab.
7. In the lower part of the window, under Outgoing Mail Server, make sure the box is checked in front of My server requires authentication.
   
8. Click OK.
9. Press Close in the Accounts window.
