Adding Additional Profiles with Netscape Mail
- Click on the Start menu.
- Highlight Programs.
- Select Netscape Communicator >Utilities > User Profile Manager .
- The Profile Manager box should appear. In the box you should have "default" if you only have one e-mail address set up.
- Select New.

- The Creating a new Profile box will be displayed.
- Select Next.

- The Enter your Name and E-mail Address box will be displayed.
- In the box titled Full Name, type the name you want the person to see when they receive an e-mail from you. (ex. John doe).
- In the box titled E-mail Address, type in your e-mail address. (ex. jdoe@dejazzd.com).
- After entering this information, click Next.

- The Choose a Name and Directory for your Profile box will be displayed.
- In the box titled Profile Name, type in a name to identify the profile you are creating. (ex. Jdoe, this will be the first part of your e-mail address).
- Do not change or add any information for the default directory.
- Click Next.

- The Set up your Outgoing Mail Server box will be displayed.
- For Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server, type in mail.dejazzd.com
- Click Next.

- The Set up your Incoming Mail Server box will be displayed.
- For Mail Server User Name, type in the name you want the person to see. (ex. Jdoe.dejazzd.com).
- For Incoming Mail Server, type in mail.dejazzd.com
- Directly below you can select a Mail Server type.
- POP3 MUST BE SELECTED.

- At this point, you have two options:
- Click Finish to complete the setup of the new account.
- Or click Next to set up newsgroups.
Optional: If you choose to set up Newsgroups, create the news server as news.dejazzd.com.
