If you are having problems with your TV, such as volume control or trouble changing channels, follow the instructions below for your remote. The SRC Number of the remote can be found on the back.
Programming the SRC-350
Setting the Gateway ID
- Press and hold the SELECT and MUTE keys for 3 seconds. The LED remains lit.
- Press the B key. The remote is now in programming mode. You can set the GATEWAY ID.
- Enter the 3-digit code assigned to your Gateway. The valid range is 000 - 999. Enter a
3-digit number, even if it contains leading zeroes. Examples of valid values are: 009, 012, 354, or 988. If you entered the Gateway ID correctly, the LED blinks three times and goes out. If the value was not entered successfully, the LED goes off and the remote control returns to normal operation.
Setting the Remote Control ID
To program the remote control ID:
- Press and hold the SELECT and MUTE keys for 3 seconds.
- Press the A key. The LED remains lit. The remote is now in programming mode.
- Enter the single-digit remote control ID from the table above.
0 = IR mode
1 = UHF stream one
2 = UHF stream two
3 = UHF stream three
If you entered an invalid sequence or a 20-second lapse in button presses occurs, the LED turns off and the remote control returns to standard operation.
If you correctly entered the single-digit code, the LED flashes on and off and then remains off.
Programming the TV Code Using Code Search Method
To program a TV code by using the search or scan method:
- Press and hold the SELECT and MUTE keys for 3 seconds.
- Press the up cursor key to scan through all TV codes. When you reach the correct TV code, the TV will automatically turn off.
- When the TV turns off, press POWER to test the TV code.
- If the TV turns on, press SELECT to store the TV code.
If the TV does not turn back on, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the TV turns on. Then press SELECT to store the code. The LED flashes 3 times, then stops, indicating that the TV code has been stored.
Programming the SRC-300
Setting the Gateway ID
- Press and hold the LED key until it starts to blink.
- Press the REC key. The LED stops blinking and stays solid.
- Press the B key.
- Press the three digits for the Gateway ID. (The valid range is 004-999)
Setting the Remote Control ID
To program the remote control ID:
- Press and hold the LED key until it starts to blink.
- Press the REC key. The LED stops blinking and stays solid.
- Press the A key.
- Press the single digit for the remote ID as follows
0 = IR mode
1 = UHF stream one
2 = UHF stream two
3 = UHF stream three
Programming the TV Code Using the Code Search Method
- Press and hold the LED key until it starts to blink.
- Press and release REC key. The LED stops blinking and stays solid.
- Press and release the POWER key. The TV is now in scanning mode.
- Repeatedly press the up key to scan through all the TV codes, when you reach the correct code the TV will automatically turn on, or off if it was previously on. Note that the LED will flash rapidly once you have scanned through all the codes, and then will continue to go through the codes in a continuous wrap.
- Press the SELECT button to store the TV code. The LED flashes rapidly, then stops indicating that the TV code has been stored.
- Repeat procedure for each remote control.
- If you press the up key too rapidly, you may pass the TV code before the TV turns on or off. If you are not sure you are storing the correct TV code, press the down key slowly to cycle back through the codes that have previously been scanned.
- When the TV turns off, or on if it was previously off, press SELECT at that point to store the TV code.
Programming the SRC-200
Setting the Gateway ID
- Press the "B" button and hold it down until the LED at the top of the remote flashes rapidly.
- Release the "B" button.
- Enter the following three-button sequence 7-8-9
The remote is now in programming mode. You can now set the GATEWAY ID - Enter the 3-digit code assigned to your Gateway
Setting the Remote Control ID
- Press the “A” button and hold it in until the LED at the top of the remote flashes rapidly.
- Release the “A” button
- Enter 7-8-9 on the remote.
- Press the single digit for the remote ID as follows
0 = IR mode
1 = UHF stream one
2 = UHF stream two
3 = UHF stream three
Programming the TV Code Using the Code Search Method
- Press and hold the MUTE button until the LED light starts to blink.
- Press and release the POWER key. The TV is now in scanning mode.
- Repeatedly press the up key to scan through all the TV codes, when you reach the correct code the TV will automatically turn on, or off if it was previously on. Note that the LED will flash rapidly once you have scanned through all the codes, and then will continue to go through the codes in a continuous wrap.
- Press the SELECT button to store the TV code. The LED flashes rapidly, then stops indicating that the TV code has been stored.
