Calling Long Distance
- the number that was dialed
- when the call was placed
- what happened on the call (For example, silence, echo, noise, can’t hear, recording, etc. If a recording was heard, please note what the recording said.)
If you are not sure which Long Distance or Regional Toll Call Provider is on your line, check your D&E Communications phone bill for this information, or
- dial 1-700-555-4141 to verify the Long Distance Provider
- dial 700-4141 to verify the Regional Toll Call Provider
A recording will give the name of the provider.
If your Long Distance or Regional Toll Provider is not D&E Communications, you should contact that provider to report the problem. The trouble- reporting number for the provider should be on a separate bill from that provider, in most cases.
